Nine men who consistently impress when it comes to fashion, whatever the season and whatever the occasion.
On Wednesday and Thursday of last week the Barney & Taylor team relocated to the beautiful Broughton Hall, in the leafy countryside near Skipton amongst the Yorkshire Dales.
We were very privileged to be working again with the incredibly talented photographer Jonathan Beer, who we previously worked with on the main images for the Barney & Taylor story website. (I seriously advise that you take a look at the genius of his work here).
We had the whole of Broughton Hall to ourselves for two days and the Management team there, in particular Mike and Lisa, couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming to us while we worked. Broughton Hall itself has a history well worth a journal post all to itself and in the coming days I will write this, as it deserves to be heard.
We utilised bedrooms, bathrooms, living rooms and the library as we photographed the Barney & Taylor leather jackets, bags, belts, wallets, gloves and hats. Each location we picked seemed to grow in opulence and magnificence and yet as a house that was lived in up to just three years ago it also had a warmth and character that you wouldn’t expect in a property of this scale and age.
Working with Jonathan was a pleasure as always and watching him work is always fascinating.
We look forward to presenting you some of the images from the shoot in due course but in the meantime here are a few images from our two days at Broughton Hall.
